My name is Chanel, I am 29 years old and have been involved in performing arts since I was five years old. I love it!
I first started in LAMDA drama school in London where I also danced Ballet and Tap.
After moving to Northern Ireland age 12, I joined various dance clubs and went on to study performing arts in college.
In 2015, I opened my own children’s dance company where I created, directed and choreographed two theatre performances and a dance film for 30 dancers ranging from 3-12years old. I was also hired by Stendhal Festival in 2015 to run a children's dance workshop and asked by many primary schools to provide afterschool dance clubs.
In 2017, I graduated with a 2:1 in Contemporary Dance where I explored Ballet, Jazz, Yoga, Pilates, Contemporary, Performance, Release Technique, Dance on Camera, Historical Context, Drama, Performance management (lighting, sound, set, production and promotion), Improvisation and Choreography. Shortly after I moved to Manchester.
Since being in Manchester I have featured in some music videos for local artists, Hollyoaks, Ackley Bridge and the popular tv programme, Dinner Date.
I have also worked for Footlights Theatre since Jan 2019 as the 'Tiny's Teacher' and was involved in two stage shows and two summer camps during my time with them.
